Nestled in the heart of Selangor, lies this hidden waterfall only relatively known to many. The name is Sungai Sendat and it is only about 45mins away from KL City Center.

The gang from TJJ Adventure undertook a challenge to recce for this waterfall since none of us knew where it was located. Armed with walkie-talkies and map , the 2 cars headed towards Ulu Yam on a lovely Saturday afternoon (4 March 2006). After dozens of asking the local Orang Asli, we found ourselves in this heavenly waterfall.

The falls consists of 3 layer, where the top and middle falls is almost 8-10 feet water deep. The water was cooling even in the mid afternoon when we arrived. One our arrival, we were met with a 9inch millipede by the waterfall. It seems the little fella was just getting ready to swim...About 20 mins later, the fella was underwater while we photograph him/her and the rest of our gang crowded over the peculiar little swimming millipeded.

We had our cosy lunch by the waterfalls, while some of us sun-tanned, others hooked up a hammock to relax. Leo and VJ passed their time taking pics of the forest/falls. After a few hours, we were relunctant to leave this nice, little hideaway falls.

As we left, we headed out to Ulu Yam Baru, where we had the famous 'loh mee'. We headed back home after a full day escapade by the Sendat falls.
