We've just returned from Spring Break in France. We spent the time exploring Alsace, an area I've always wanted to visit. I'm very glad I got to go because it's a beautiful region. I would love to return in summer some time when all the towns are decked out in flowers.

We decided to take our daughter Anya with us. She did very well considering it was such a long trip and the weather was rather cold.

We flew into Frankfurt Germany because it was closer to Alsace than was Paris. Our first stop was Strasbourg, a large town right on the French/German border. We stayed there several days before heading to Colmar.
