Yanapaccha is a 5400m mountain at the end of Quebrada Demanda in Cordillera Blanca, Peru. Less visited than other mountains in the range, Yanapaccha is great for taking pictures of its neighbors Chacraraju, Pisco, Huandoy, Huascaran and Chopicalqui. In Yungay we took the road to Llanganuco and Vaqueria. We started the approach from the E side of the mountain, a few miles away from Portachuelo (4800m) in a place called Morococha (4450m).
