While in Dayton in October 2005, I headed over to nearby Waynesville and Caesar Creek Lake. A dam across the creek resulted in a huge lake. In addition to water activities, the area features hiking and fossiling. A pioneer village features a collection of buildings dating from 1791 to 1848, some in their original locations.
