Photoshop and white balance controls are all I need. China next month
Wow - Great shots. I'm leaving for Shanghai in one month. It will be my first trip to Asia. I'm planning on going south and on to Viet Nam. I'll probably visit some of the same places in you visited this time. I can only hope to capture some of the great feeling that your photos have done. I'm especially looking forward to shooting the people - especially the children - and the "Karst" mountains. I'm taking a digital rebel XT and a new 10 - 20 Sigma lens. I Also carry an 18 - 55 and an 80 - 300. I'm also going to lug a small tripod for night and low light shots. Do you shoot through filters as much with digital as with film or do you count on Photoshop for correction? Your site has prompted me to start a "world is round" site for myself before I go. Thanks for the motivation. Your shots have made me look forward even more to my trip. Greg

Great Photos
I was stunned seeing these photos. I had been living in Beijing for 5 years, but never thought of taking the photos from such beautiful angles as yours. Your idea never dries. And it seemed that Beijing had changed a lot in last one year. But as I remembered last time when I left, the Forbidden City was already in reparation, and still not finished up till now?

How good to view the whole trip - two images here that are not on pbase catch my interest - one is Beijing Bus Stop - because to the fact that the woman in the billboard is holding a teddy bear which, for me bridges to the young girls waiting for the bus and Hardsell on the Li - which gives so much context to the image of the river vendor.
