During my summer holiday from my studies in the US, I visited Redang in 1998 and fell in love with the place. I only had the chance to re-visit in 2002 and Redang gets better and better!

I noticed there weren't a lot of photos of Redang in this website, so I decided to throw in my personal collections of spectacular beaches of Redang taken using my Canon A40.

Most of the beach photos were taken at Teluk Dalam Beach, which privately owned by Berjaya Redang Beach Resort. The other 2 prolific beaches of Redang are Pasir Kalong Beach and Pasir Panjang Beach - unfortunately I don't have a lot of photos of them. This article mostly concentrates on the beauty of Teluk Dalam Beach in Redang.

Berjaya Redang Beach Resort is the only 5-star resort resort in the island. Packages usually starts for 2D/1N onwards. The departure is from Shahbandar Jetty in Kuala Terengganu, NOT from Merang Jetty. Most tour operators will ensure you go to the right place. The boat trip takes about 1 hours - a huge, comfy double-storey boat. When you arrive at Berjaya jetty, a shuttle bus will pick you up and send you to the resort fronting the amazing beach.

As for myself, I usually cannot wait to get to the beach and see the amazing colour. And also, you'll swear that the sand has the softest powder, trust me on that.

Enough of that. Enjoy the photos!
