Photographs taken in the hills & Olive groves above the village of Hadzi in central Messinia - early April 2006 during a walk to locate wild Asparagus. All untitled photographs are general views through the groves, showing the rich array of Springtime flora in this low mountain region. The Asparagus itself is eagerly sought & considered a cullinary delicacy, especially when served as localy, in a village egg omelette, along with local salted & spiced Pork (Pasto)
