One of the less well known chapters in book of man's inhumanity to man, is the 1932-33 Famine-Genocide (which Russian speakers wrongly translate ad Holocaust). In order to provide food for their own (Russian) terratory, the Stalinist regime deliberately enginered a famine in Ukraine as a result of which about 10 million lives were lost - a sizeable proportion of the population of about 39 million. One display tells how the Russians tried to blame Ukranian Nationalist Sabateurs for the food shortage! Another tells how ethnic Russians were resettled into the Ukrainian villages emptied by the famine.
