Unfortunately, I'm not a well-rounded person that I really don't know the supposedly "invaluable contributions" of people such as: William Shakespeare, Geoffrey Chaucer, Lawrence Olivier, & etc. (Please forgive my ignorance.)

*Indeed, please forgive my ignorance yet I do not mean to offend anyone especially those who's heroes are the aforementioned people.

However, I'll highly appreciate it if anyone out there can provide me details on why the works of the aforementioned people are indeed invaluable to humanity. This way, I'll better understand it & in turn, be enlightened. Thanks:)
