<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> &#34;The Coronation chair&#34;<br> Scenery in London picture - Simply made of wood, this coronation chair, back in the olden times, actually belonged to Scotland for a very long time. However, the English king [King Edward I] captured it in 1296. And ever since 1308, all sovereigns of England have been crowned in this chair except 2 kings: Edward V &#38; Edward VIII. Now that really shows how such a simple chair made of wood has ultimately beceme a sign of prestige for one of the world&#39;s greatest empire. The Scotts &#38; the English were such bitter rivals back then that capturing a simple chair made of wood was so symbolic - &#38; it cost thousands of lives! *The Scotts never recapture back this chair. Instead, Scotland was incorporated into &#34;the United Kingdom&#34; later on. **Unfortunately, the wooden chair was vandalized by various visitors earlier this past century that it was put in seclusion. </div></nolayer></noembed>
