One of the greatest minds of all time (only Einstein matches this genius), Newton's works laid the foundation to "classical physics" which up to this very day remains an indespensible tool to humanity. Ultimately, he's one of the "all time greats" of mankind. *Now there are lots of "great persons" throughout history but "great" is such a broad word. To some, a "great person" might be a leader or conqueror such as: Genghis Khan, Julius Ceasar, Alexander the Great, Suleiman the Magnificent, & etc. To others, a "great person" may be a freedom fighter such as: George Washington, Simon Bolivar, Vladimir Lenin, Osama Bin Laden?, & etc. Still to others, a "great person" may be those who devouted their lives serving their fellow man such as: Mother Theresa, Mohatma Gandhi, the Lord Buddha, & etc. To others, "great persons" are those of religion such as: the prophets, the imams, theologians, & etc.
