*Maxwell's works includes: the kinetic theory of gases, the elastic properties of solids, statistical mechanics, & most of all, "Maxwell equation" which explains the symmetry between the electric & magnetic field.

Maxwell's work regarding "The Electromagnetic Theory of Light" is what ultimately enabled mankind to understand & use radio & TV waves. Of course, no one can dispute the dire importance of both!

Last but not the least, radio astronomy remains our only hope of ever communicating with life forms from other worlds if they do exists.
