Indeed, that theory is so controversial & offensive to many people around the globe that it's still highly disputed even up to this very day! In fact, a lot of people considers Darwin "the devil himself."

It's like, if Christ was sent by the almighty Father, Darwin then was sent by the Devil, as to what the "anti-evolution, pro-Creation" folks claim.
