Being a magnificent lecturer, Michael Faraday's lectures were never empty! In turn, he captured people's interest in science thereby popularizing it back in his time much like how the late Carl Sagan did in the 1960-70's. Ultimately, Michael Faraday instilled enthusiasm, interest, & love of science amongst the masses. *Faraday's other works includes: electrolysis which led to the foundation of "electro-chemistry" & the Law that ws named after him, the discovery of the effect of magnetism on polarized light called "the Faraday effect" (this was done with a series of experiments using heavy optical glasses), & etc. **Michael Faraday was a deeply religious man. He was well-known for his modesty, truthfulness, & charm. He is buried here in Westminster Abbey.
