But since the 2 probes are doomed to wander the cosmos after passing-by the outer planets, then we might as well include some documents about us & the Earth just in case someone out there finds it. Our fondest hope is that it doesn't crash into some space debris or ends-up in some planet that doesn't have any intelligent life forms. But even if that happens, this endeavor is still not a waste nor does it diminishes the valuable informations sent us [from 1977-86] regarding Jupiter, Saturn, & co. Also, we hope that it doesn't end-up in the hands of highly advanced but very violent life forms bent on domination. Naaahh, those are strictly traits of man & that violent E.T.'s are the realm of science fiction:) *The astronaut pic is so symbolic as it shows how eager we are in exploring space even if our primitive technology strictly limits us within the bounds of "low-earth orbit" while the sunset pic shows how BEAUTIFUL our home planet is.
