We made our way to the Mammoth Caves in a round-about way (ok, we were lost!!) and got to see some incredible Kentucky countryside. This was a really peaceful area. The fields were covered in yellow flowers all over Kentucky. The trees were out in full bloom. You can see that the church like many buildings around rural Kentucky has boarded up windows and must be out of use for now.
