Las Estacas is located in Tlaltizapan which is about 45 minutes south of the city. Its in a valley in the Sierra of Montenegro mountains and it has 7,328 hectares, Las Estacas a special ecosystem where a spring generates 7,500 liters of water each second to form a kilometer of river of crystalline waters that gives life to a great flora wealth and fauna of diverse species. Among the animals that can be observed they are: raccoon, armadillo, tlacuache, flying squirrel, squirrel cuinique, turtle, fish silver, mojarra, common duck and magpie. Two thousand real palms, millennial amates, fruit-bearing trees and hundreds of flowers make this a fabulous garden setting.
