Marabouts are places where someone of note is buried. This one, amongst the valley floor gardens, has a beautifully green-glazed tiled roof. The green tiles, often used in Morocco's palaces, are traditionally made in the village of Tamgroute. The tiles are made by hand and fired in a bricked-up oven.
