I'm told that the Warwick Castle is the best-preserved castle in a land awash in castles - England. I'll accept that. The day we visited in May of 2006 it was raining (ho hum) but that didn't diminish the effect it made upon first sight. One could almost imagine armored knights departing the main gate prepared for battle. It's an impressive edifice and worth the cost to visit.
