Peredelkino is a summer house village, which was established in 1930-s, after Maxim Gorky came back to Russia from his european travellings. Gorky's idea was to provide a place for soviet writers to work peacefully in the nature. It worked out and Stalin gave a permission for Peredlkino. Since when it become a place where russian literature concentrates. Boris Pasternak, author of "Doctor Givago" lived where for about 20 years.
