These photos are from a trip to Florence in late April. The weather was lovely although there were more tourists than we would've liked. I get the feeling that's pretty much unavoidable anytime you go to Florence though. We stayed in a lovely and inexpensive place called Pensione Canada located just off of the Piazza del Duomo. We took a walking tour called something like "The Original Florence Walking Tour" which was really entertaining and informative. A little pricey but worth it. And also worth it is the long hike up to Piazzale Michelangelo - the views of the city from there are gorgeous. Overall an amazing city with tons to see and do - but don't try to do it all in one trip, just enjoy.
