The pictures in this album are from two separate day trips we took while staying in Split, Croatia. The first pictures are from the town of Supetar on the Island of Brac. Brac is a beautiful island and Supetar was a lovely town. If we had had more time we would've liked to travel to the other side of the island and see a bit more of it. But Supeater was easy to get to from Split. The Jadrolinija ferry lines run several ferries there each day, even in the off season. Ferry tickets are inexpensive and the ride over is really cool.

The rest of the photos are from Trogir, a small medieval town about 30 minutes from Split by bus. You can take a local bus to Trogir, or one of the bigger buses that goes on to Zadar or Zagreb. The prices are not that different but the local buses leave more frequently. Trogir was a very tiny, picturesque town full of narrow winding streets. It is built right on the water and has a really nice boulevard along the ocean where there are several nice outdoor cafes. It was great to spend a day in a small town, away from bustling Split. Both of these were excellent, inexpensive day trips.
