Dubrovnik is perhaps the most touristed city in Croatia, and with good reason. The old walled city is beautiful and very well-preserved. A walk around the city walls is not to be missed as the views are spectacular. You can stay in the old city, which is only a very small area of Dubrovnik, or search for a less expensive room in one of the nearby neighborhoods.
