This is a trip report of Sharon's and my adventures in the North of Peru, May 18 to June 6, 2006. I start out by myself, taking a 40 Kilometer 25 mile trek through the Cordillera Blanca, a snow covered mountain range near Huaraz, Peru north of Lima. After the hike I join Sharon and a larger group to explore the Andes more and visit a temple thought to be built in 800-400 B.C. and involved in strange drug induced rituals.
