I regularly travel to Dayton, Ohio, for business reasons. During my first trip to Dayton in 2006, I flew in and out of Columbus. On my Sunday drive from Columbus to Dayton, I visited a number of Ohio's many sites associated with its Hopewell and Adena Indian cultures, peoples who left numerous mounds and other earthworks across the state and eastern U.S.
