Strawberry Peak is 7,039 feet high and can be seen behind "M Mountain" (also known as Socorro Peak) from Socorro, New Mexico. We began our hike at around 4,650 feet from the mountain biking trailhead near the AOC west building. We followed that until we reached the Nogal Arroyo, which we followed to the base of the mountain. The round trip was about 8 hours and temperatures were rarely below 100 fahrenheit that day.
