This is the first of a series of short photo articles on our visit to the Cook Islands in June 2006. The trip was a present to ourselves (Jan and Rob) to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were in the Cook Islands for only a week, which is definitely not enough time.

What a wonderful place to visit! The people are so friendly and peaceful. The islands are not spoilt with overt commercialism: you are not bombarded with billions of souvenir shops and there is minimal property development.
