Georgetown pt 2, 2006

This journal, part 2 of the Georgetown series, features Madras Lane (Lorong) & Burmah Road (Jalan). Burmah Road stretches east-west for some 3.7 kms from its junction with Penang Road, near KOMTAR, at the east end, all the way to Pulau Tikus, now a Georgetown suburb. Madras Lane, a relatively short street about 4 blocks west of Penang Road, intersects with Burmah Road at the north end, and Macalister Road at the south end.

A movie in Georgetown
Did u know they are planning a big budgeted movie right here in GEorgetown by the renowned director Ang Lee? I wonder if they will pick any the many beautiful buildings u have captured here.. The location scout should really check out your journals to save them some legwork....
