We took the train from Glasgow to Edinburgh for the afternoon. We saw the castle as well as St. Giles cathedral and some of the Royal Mile, with lunch at Deacon Brodies (where we had our first vegetarian haggis, with tatties and neeps--potatoes and turnips).
