Archaeological site at Sipán Lamabayeque picture - This excavated funeral chamber contains replicas of the bones and artifacts unearthed at Huaca Rajada's Lord of Sipán tomb. The discoveries at Huaca Rajada are often compared to Egypt's King Tut excavation because of the wealth of objects unearthed and the fact that the tomb was discovered in a pristine, unlooted condition with all artifacts in place. Archaeologists and anthropologists learned a great deal about the Moche culture from these findings.
