This message is everywhere, and it is genuine. While people are struggling and stunned, there's a tremendous sense of hope and also a genuine appreciation for those who have come to help, or support the economy by coming back to N.O. Sometimes I found people really wanting/needing to tell a personal story too, and of course I listened. The good times may be starting to roll more, but there's still a lot devastation and confusion as to the future.
