In February 2006, the wilds of Florida tugged at our heart again this year. We flew into Sarasota and headed north to check out the area around Cedar Keys and the Lower Suwannee River Wildlife Refuge on Florida's west coast. Nest we moved to a B&B in Everglade City on the west side of the Everglades National Park as our base for explorations. We visited Sharks Valley, Big Cypress National Preserve, the Audubon Corkscrew Sanctuary, Ochopee (with the smallest post office in the U.S., and various stops along the roadside.
