Humboldt, population 5,000+, is located 113 kms east of Saskatoon at the junction of Highway 5 and Highway 20. It became Saskatchewan’s 13th & newest city in 2000. Modern-day Humboldt has several monikers - "The Heart of the Sure Crop District", "Mustard Capital of the World", "A Little Bit of Germany in the Heart of the Prairies", and "Home of Action Humboldt".

I drew that when I was under 13 years old, gave it to Mom who got it framed & had it hanging in their bedroom for years. She gave it back to me when she was downsizing so it wouldn't get lost. I still have an abstract painting daughter Carol made for me when she was 16. I'll make sure she gets both to pass on after I'm gone, physically or mentally ;o)
