We spent time in Zambia and Zimbabwe visiting either side of the Victoria Falls. Although it looked fantastic on the Zambian side, it was clearly more impressive on the Zimbabwe side. However to see it from Zimbabwe we were forced to pay for ridiculously priced visas (US$35 for New Zealanders, $US55 for Brits).

Our day trip across to Zimbabwe was an awesome experience, despite being chased by some scary baboons while walking across the border. We spent close to three hours wandering around the falls view points (and getting wet from the spray of the falls). Our day was also marked by a happy event; Richard finally proposing to Tanya at the Falls after three years together. Note the happy faces in one of photos.
