We made her put it back. This, and the following photos were taken at the old Ball property. Two brothers, George and John Ball, were given 1,200 acres after serving with the British army, in the war of 1812. They saw potential here with two waterfalls nearby, and so, built a home. Later they built a grist mill, (still operating), saw mill, woolen mill, work shops, etc. The Park incorporated and restored some of these buildings and, brought in, and, restored other buildings. </div></nolayer></noembed>
