It was there that the priest Jesuit Manuel de Paiva celebrated the first mass in the day 25 of January, in an altar improvised in a hut of wattle and daub. The house and the college of the Jesuits were inaugurated in December of 1556 and they served like education and religious thirst of the Town of Piratininga during more than 80 years. </div></nolayer></noembed>
