The main level of Puerto Vallarta's airport offers several small shops and eating establishments. A post office, bank, currency exchange and several magazine stands are also located on the main level. The second level offers a sit down restaurant called "Wings". Once past the passport and security check-in area, there is a large lounge/waiting area with duty free shops (liquor and perfumes). There is a bar and small cafeteria in the lounge area as well. The international departure gates are on the level below (down a flight of stairs). Airport personnel will only let those passengers whose flights are called for boarding to wait in this area.
