My husband and I visited Cloudland Canyon State Park this past weekend. It is north of Rome is Rising Fawn, Georgia. It is only about 30 minutes from Lookout Mountain and the Chatanooga, Tennessee area. We camped at a walk in camping site for $10. We visited the overlook area and hiking a few miles down to see the two waterfalls. Both were only trickling. So, it wasn't quite what we had expected. Maybe spring is a better time of year to visit. We drove to Lookout Mountain and stopped at a park. It was a fun weekend trip.
