1 - Delhi, Agra, Amritsar, McLeod Ganj

I have embarked on a year-long trip to India, China and Tibet, and these photos are from my first month in India. After spending a few days in Delhi acclimating, I moved on to Agra to see the Taj Mahal, then journeyed 17 hours by train to Amritsar (Punjab). I'm currently (Oct. 2006) spending a couple weeks in McLeod Ganj, the site of the Tibetan government-in-exile and the Dalai Lama's home since the late 1950s.

Thanks so much for sharing your good pictures and observations! Fun to see them! I think the Shah's wife died after giving birth to her 13th, but could be wrong??

Hi! The pics are very nice espcially the Golden Temple ones. I was also there in Mcleond Ganj on last week of sep 2006 and then after 2 days we moved on to Manali Have you een to Manali it is also a very beautiful Hill station of India. I suggest you take a trip there too. You area very beautiful women, would like to know where you are from. If yo would like to see my Manali pics then you can check article # 315420.
