I have embarked on a year-long trip to India, China and Tibet, and these photos are from my first month in India. After spending a few days in Delhi acclimating, I moved on to Agra to see the Taj Mahal, then journeyed 17 hours by train to Amritsar (Punjab). I'm currently (Oct. 2006) spending a couple weeks in McLeod Ganj, the site of the Tibetan government-in-exile and the Dalai Lama's home since the late 1950s.
