I met Bavarian folklore group some years ago in Disneyland in Orlando, Florida. Their dances and beer I liked so much that I decided to visit the country they came from and I did it last year. Bavaria is the most mountainous region of Germany with Bavarian Alps and the highest German peak: the Zugspitze (2966 m).Beer seems to be the national drink there with estimated consumption over 225 litres (50 gallons)per person and year. Bavarians find many occasions to show their dances and the famous leather pants. I was lucky to see one of these events.
