TQ for your comments. No, I didn't manage to get a chance to stay in a yurt. But if u go there one day, you may try that at Balikun Grassland. U can either choose to stay in their guest house or yurt. I am sure it will be a wonderful experience.

Huge changes
I was shocked to see the changes of Erdaoqiao market. Back in yr 2000 when we visited Urumqi, the market was not like this at all. Later, I did a check then confirmed the current market was a new restoration and just completed in 2003. With all those new building even Carrefour is there really a huge developments Xianjiang province has just within 6 years time.
