We stayed three days on St. Croix. Our hotel was on a beach where one first had to swim through eel grass for snorkeling. At one point we saw a school of scuttle fish, all nicely green like the grass, head pointing upwards. We took a tour of the island, visiting the botanical garden, a sugar plantation, the Cruzan rum factory, had lunch in Frederikstedt (on the other end of the island) and returned through a rain forest.
