<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> Attractions &#38; Amusements in India picture - While the Khajuraho statues were easily accepted by the Hindu people a thousand years ago, this Thomas Hart Benton painting was severely criticized by many Americans when it was completed only 70 years ago. The painting was described as &#39;lewd, immoral, obscene, lascivious, degrading, an insult to womanhood and the lowest expression of pure filth.&#34; I wonder what that critic would have said about the statues of Khajurajo, one of UNESCO&#39;S World Heritage sites. What a difference between our two cultures! </div></nolayer></noembed>
