This the 3rd & last photo journal in my NYC set, as well as my last journal in the 'fall colors tour' series which covered 11 cities in eastern Canada & the U.S. in 14 days. I hope you enjoyed the photo journals as much as I enjoyed reliving the tour, & doing the 'after' research to provide some background information & history. I'm sure that many of your devoted readers will miss your excellent pictures of both places and people, the detailed background information you provide, and your chatty human interest comments. I think this was a marvelous way to end a great series.

I worked in New York (we lived in Connecticut) for four years in the 1960's, Lorraine, but I never saw the city as you have in just a few days. My company will probably never transfer me back there (since I retired in 1988, it's not too probable), but if they did, your wonderful pictures give me many reasons to consider leaving California and going back!
