In early November 2006, my colleague, Davis Whiteman, and I took a break from our training responsibilities in Manila to spend a three-day weekend in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, as it is officially named, consists primarily of four regions: Hong Kong Island, the Kowloon Peninsula, Lantau Island, and the New Territories. The typical visitor will spend most of their time in the bustling "inner-city" areas of Hong Kong and Kowloon, frequently crossing Victoria Harbour from one side to the other, as both offer a rich variety of fascinating attractions to be seen and experienced.
