How we love that "green, green grass of home"... la, la, la...

I can't believe how blue the sky is in those photos you took today Fred. Thanks for keeping our historical consciousnesses alive at this special time of year. Your shots made me feel homesick for Ottawa. Unheard of greenery for sure. Our pool isn't even frozen and it was a pleasure to put up the Xmas lights!! Just doesn't seem right. But do send out good vibes for a least one good snow storm in the next two weeks as our new son in law from Australia is here and has never seen snow!!!

Nice pictures, Fred!
And, I feel your pain...I have seen 1 snow flurry, this year, and it lasted 5 minutes (and, left nothing on the ground). I'm looking out my window and my grass is still green and hasn't even started to go yellow, yet. Christmas day in the 50F's, in Massachusetts, this year...global warming, bad luck, Mother Nature is p*ssed off? Not sure, but it stinks.

Well, Fred the weather is certainly mixed up. We won't be haveing a white Christmas either. All our snow was gone a couple of weeks ago and now it is pouring rain. Just hope it doesn't turn to snow. Your photos are great. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your green Christmas!

Spectacular photography, Fred. I am amazed - having lived in Ottawa for the past almost 30 years, I am not familiar with at least two of the buildings. Thanks for the travelogue and commentary - sans neige.

Fred, this is not the Ottawa where I once lived for a short period of time. I remember mounds of snow and very bitter weather in the world's second coldest capital city. Anyway, do enjoy it while it lasts. Mother nature will have her way eventually.
