Inevitably, there were certain places and certain activities which characterized Mondsee in the memories of my childhood. 1. There is the memory of three or four musicians making a circle through Mondsee, perhaps an hour or so prior to the start of the "Jedermann" (H. von Hofmannsthal's "Everyman").
