I've been to Hong Kong many times over the years, and while there this time I made a list of things that I had never done before. Visiting the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island was one of them.
The Buddha is famous for being the largest outdoors bronze Buddha in the world. It was completed in 1993, and unlike other Buddhas, faces north rather than south.
