In October and November of 2006, I had the opportunity to travel on business to Manila in the Philippines. I've done a lot of business travel in my time, but this was definitely the best trip of them all. For five weeks I got to enjoy the beautiful city of Manila and work with its wonderful people. I can't understand why Manila isn't considered more of a tourist destination. It's a great mix of cultures -- Asian, Spanish and American. Sure it's crowded and hot and a little polluted, but there are so many more ... (more)
