I caught the bus from Manizales, via Periera to Armenia. Cost about 12,000 pesos - cheap. Of course the lady told me a 2 hr trip which equelled a normal persons 3.5 hr.

When I arrived, met Marta and we skipped up to Salento in the mountains. It is a small pueblo that is sort of like in a time warp. Very nice place, with nice houses etc. Has a stations of the cross up the hill and a great view from there. The trip is well worth it as it only takes 40 mnutes from Medellin.
